**Job Description** Timmons Group is seeking a **Civil Project Engineer I/II** to join our Traffic Analysis and Planning Group in our **Charlotte, NC** office. In this role, you'll support transportation and traffic engineering projects for state DOTs, local governments, and private\-sector clients, from traffic impact analyses and corridor studies to signal timing, work zone traffic control, and multimodal safety improvements. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** **Duties of a successful candidate include, but are not limited to:** * Perform traffic operations analyses, traffic impact studies, corridor studies, access management evaluations, and intersection control evaluations, including innovative intersection and interchange alternatives (e.g., roundabouts, RCUTs, MUTs, DLTs); * Conduct traffic safety analyses, including crash data review, HSIP project support, and countermeasure development; * Develop traffic calming and speed management concepts; * Evaluate and design bicycle, pedestrian, and Complete Streets improvements, from feasibility through implementation; * Prepare traffic forecasts, capacity analyses, and traffic simulation models using industry\-standard softwa...
