Description

**Position Purpose** The primary functions of the Delivery Helper are to load materials, locate jobsites, assist with backing procedures, prepare and restore jobsites, prepare the truck for the following day, and maintain trucks and equipment. **Key Responsibilities** * Comply with company, state, and federal guidelines, particularly as they relate to OSHA and DOT requirements for the safety of all personnel. * Perform pre\-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork, and loaded product to ensure order accuracy. * Safely unload product and deliver materials to the assigned area as directed by the customer. * Secure mud, equipment, metal, pallets, and other materials on the truck. * Assist with route navigation to jobsites. * Maintain a safe work environment and follow all company safety procedures. * Assist in preparing trucks and equipment for the following day's deliveries. * Perform additional duties as assigned. **Direct Manager/Direct Reports** Reports to the department manager. No direct reports. **Travel Requirements** Frequent local travel to customer jobsites as part of daily delivery operations. **Physical Requirements** * Must be able to remain standing 90% of the time, wit...
