Classic medical assistant duties such as calling in patients from the waiting room, obtaining weights, vision, urine dipstick, ekg, drawing blood for labs, entering lab test in EMR and printing requisition form. Answering phones and scheduling patients. Calling patients with labs and explaining abnormalities and care plan under physician guidance. As experience grows, calling in medication, doing prior authorization for radiology procedures and medicine. There is a lot of room for growth with this position but the applicant must be dependable and want to work in a fast pace environment. Nursing or Pre\-Med students preferred.
