The Aviation Logistics Manager leads the movement, handling, and documentation of aircraft components, materials and supporting equipment supporting General MRO Aerospace’s repair operations and customer commitments. This role oversees shipping and receiving, domestic and international transportation, customs coordination, packaging, and logistics processes. The manager works closely with Customer Support, Operations, Quality, Purchasing, and Finance to ensure shipments are accurate, properly documented, handled with care, and delivered on time. The role supports compliance with applicable aviation, customs, dangerous goods, and export requirements. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** * Manage daily inbound and outbound shipments of aircraft components, repair orders, materials, tooling, and equipment. * Oversee shipping and receiving activities, including workload planning, staffing, training, and performance. * Select and manage carriers, freight forwarders, brokers, and other logistics providers. * Coordinate domestic and international transportation, including urgent and AOG shipments. * Prepare and review shipping documents, commercial invoices, packing lists, customs p...
