**Position Overview** --------------------- BLOC Resources is seeking a highly organized and detail\-oriented **SIPS Specialist 2** to support Southern Company’s **Supply Chain Management Supplier Information and Process Solutions (SIPS) team** in Birmingham, Alabama. This position plays an important role in supporting Southern Company’s **Source\-to\-Pay (S2P) process** through the vetting, establishment, maintenance, and administration of a supplier master database containing **more than 60,000 supplier records**. The SIPS Specialist 2 will be responsible for processing requests to **add, change, maintain, or inactivate suppliers** in accordance with established policies and procedures. This is a **fast\-paced, high\-volume transactional position** requiring exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality, organization, and the ability to manage multiple requests and priorities.
