### **Financial Controller** **Location:** Chesterfield, VA **Job Type:** Full\-Time \| Direct Hire **Starting Salary:** $140,000/year; higher depending on experience ### **Position Overview** We are hiring an experienced Financial Controller to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and internal controls. This role ensures compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), strengthens financial processes, and provides financial guidance to support business and operational goals. ### **Key Responsibilities** * Lead accounting operations and execute financial strategies aligned with business objectives. * Oversee accounts payable, payroll, billing, collections, taxes, budgeting, profit and loss (P\&L), asset management, and financial reporting. * Prepare accurate financial statements, forecasts, cash flow analyses, and short\- and long\-term financial projections. * Monitor daily bank balances, cash flow, and P\&L performance. * Maintain accounting systems, financial records, internal controls, policies, and procedures. * Review monthly account reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and oversee balance sheets, revenue estimates, ...
