Steele Industries is a growing night vision manufacturer and distributor seeking a hands\-on Financial Controller to lead our accounting processes, strengthen financial reporting, and support continued expansion. This role will work directly with the owner, our existing accounting support team, operations staff, and a fractional CFO. We need someone who takes ownership, establishes dependable processes, and turns financial information into clear, actionable reporting. **Responsibilities** * Oversee day\-to\-day accounting and maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Online. * Coordinate and oversee the work of our existing accounting support team and outside bookkeeper. * Establish and manage the monthly close process, including reconciliations and timely financial statements. * Prepare monthly profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash\-flow statements, and management reports. * Maintain a rolling cash forecast and identify potential cash shortfalls before obligations become due. * Organize payment schedules for suppliers, credit cards, payroll, and debt, coordinating approvals and payment execution. * Oversee accounts receivable, expected collections, and follow\-u...
