**Admissions Director** **Job description** **Admissions Director** Our mission is to offer quality care to our residents, and to provide for them a loving and compassionate environment, attending carefully to their physical, spiritual, and emotional needs. The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate inquiry and admission processes in order to assure resident and family satisfaction. This person will also represent the facility in a positive manner throughout the community, and to balance the census population according to budgetary needs. **Job Responsibilities:** * Coordinates the inquiry process, referral process, and the admission process as well as completing necessary paperwork related to each process. * Informed of Medicare, Medicaid and other insurance guidelines as pertains to the position. * Assists the Director of Corporate Communications and Administrator in preparing and implementing marketing goals and objectives. * Maintains contact with current referral sources while working to develop new sources of referrals. * Communicates effectively with the Social Security Department, Nursing and Business Office regarding bed availability. * Evaluates referrals to de...
