**NATIVE GOVERNANCE CENTER POSITION DESCRIPTION** **JOB TITLE:** Communications \& Advancement Specialist **POSITION SUMMARY:** The Communications \& Advancement Specialist supports the implementation of Native Governance Center’s (NGC) advancement and communications strategy by developing and coordinating compelling, culturally grounded communications that help strengthen relationships, increase visibility, and advance NGC’s mission. This position serves as a key communication resource for the organization, including responsibility for content development/management, digital communications, brand management, advancement campaigns, audience engagement, sponsor management, communication systems, and performance evaluation. The Specialist will develop and implement clear communication plans and practices that reflect the values of NGC. This position will also support fundraising through individual donor campaign management. The Specialist will report to the Director of Advancement and Strategy.
