Description

Bachelor's degree in the marketing and communications, parks and recreation, or related field; three to five years of progressively responsible experience in recreation and parks, marketing, social media management, direction of marketing plans, and special events planning, to include one year of supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Must be willing to work outside of normal work hours, which may include evenings and weekends. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud applications desired. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. **Current valid driver’s license and good driving record required. Based on the Virginia DMV point system, records must not reflect a total of six or more demerit points within the twenty\-four months preceding the anticipated hire date, or one major violation of six demerit points within the preceding thirty\-six months. Out\-of\-state driving records must be obtained by the applicant and presented at time of interview.
