**Job Description:**The Accounting Director leads all accounting operations for the company and owns the accuracy, timeliness and integrity of its financial records and reporting. The role directs the monthly and annual close, maintains internal controls, leads the external audit, oversees tax compliance and develops the accounting team. Reporting to the \[CFO / VP of Finance], the Director advises executive leadership on the accounting impact of business decisions. **Expectations:** ### **Financial close and reporting** * Direct the monthly, quarterly and annual close. * Prepare and review financial statements. * Oversee the general ledger, journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals and fixed assets. * Deliver monthly reporting packages and variance analysis to executive leadership. ### **Accounting operations** * Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, revenue recognition and inventory/cost accounting. * Monitor cash position and cash flow and manage banking relationships. * Manage \[multi\-entity consolidations and intercompany accounting]. ### **Internal controls and compliance** * Design, document and maintain internal controls over financial...
