**Job Summary** We are seeking a dynamic and detail\-oriented Transportation Planner \& Service Quality Coordinator to support the planning, scheduling, evaluation, and continuous improvement of transit services operated by the Agency for Community Transit (ACT). The position assists the Manager of Planning \& Scheduling with data analysis, service planning, route and schedule development, public engagement, and implementation of service changes. A key function of this position is serving as a liaison between Planning and Operations. The Transportation Planner develops a strong understanding of day\-to\-day operational practices, constraints, and technology and uses that knowledge to help translate planning decisions into practical operating procedures and service practices. This is a developmental position designed to build the broad knowledge and experience necessary to assume increased responsibility within the Planning Department, including possible future advancement into the Manager of Planning \& Scheduling role.
