**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS** * Create, modify and maintain programs for machines, robotics, 3rd party integration, and complete systems. * Assist Checkout Technicians with factory testing * Create documentation to share knowledge with other Controls Engineers as well as Checkout and Service Technicians * Review and troubleshoot customer field issues and recommend viable solutions for quick resolution. * Work on projects to improve speed, capacity, reliability, functionality, and ease of operation * Assist Service Department in troubleshooting machines, either in the field via telephone or on\-site at the customer’s facility * Ensure that programs follow a standardized and structured format and notation for ease of understanding by co\-workers and customers. * Perform other tasks or duties as assigned **Education and Experience** * Four\-year degree in Electrical Engineering (or Related Field) or two\-year degree in Engineering (or equivalent and 3 years of related experience in the field of automation and robotics) * Familiarity with motion control, servo controls, HMI, and packaging equipment * AB PLC experience preferred * Fanuc Robot experience preferred * AutoCAD Electrical experien...
