**The Position** ---------------- The East Bay Regional Park District is currently recruiting for a **Civil Engineer** to support the Park District’s Restoration Projects Unit, delivering capital projects that restore and enhance parklands. The Civil Engineer will play a key role in moving projects from design through construction, including civil engineering design, preparation of construction documents, cost estimates, permitting, contract administration, and construction management. The position may also serve as Resident Engineer (RE) on assigned construction projects and support the Design and Construction Department as a construction management and administration subject matter expert. This position will collaborate closely with Park District staff, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies and will provide technical expertise that supports successful, efficient, and high\-quality delivery of the Park District’s capital improvement projects.
