**Overview** Under minimal direction, the General Manager manages full scope of the HCWC operations to provide customers with a safe and reliable water supply; provides professional and technical staff support, and assistance to the Board; coordinates all HCWC activities with Federal, State, County, local and private agencies. Performs additional duties as required. DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS This position reports directly to the Board of Directors. Scope of work is highly complex in nature with management responsibility over all units of the HCWC. The General Manager is expected to develop a business plan, and satisfactorily accomplish the goals, objectivies and missions of the organization as set forth by the Board.
