We are looking for an experienced **Senior Accountant** to support accounting and financial reporting for a wine and production operation. This is a hands\-on role with a strong focus on cost accounting, inventory, production costs, and month\-end close. The right person will have experience in a manufacturing, food \& beverage, wine, or other inventory\-driven environment and understand how production activity flows through the financial statements. ### **Responsibilities** * Own and maintain inventory and cost accounting for raw materials, packaging, finished goods, and work in process * Track and analyze production costs, including grapes, bulk wine, packaging, bottling, labor, overhead, and other expenses * Maintain and review standard and actual costs and investigate significant variances * Work closely with operations and production teams to ensure costs are captured accurately and timely * Analyze inventory movements, production yields, usage, and variances * Assist with physical inventory counts and reconcile inventory records to the general ledger * Review inventory reserves, write\-offs, aging, and obsolescence as needed * Support costing of wine and production activities...
