**Job Responsibilities:** * Interview patients, check vital signs, check for allergies and record information, input information in the patients’ medical chart * Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and equipment * Maintains clean, fully stocked, organized, and up\-to\-date rooms upon arrival and prior to leaving work * Prepare injections and assist Physicians as necessary * Remove staples, sutures, casts, and bandages per Physician orders * Clean and sterilize equipment * Apply DME per Physician orders * Enter all testing, physical therapy, medications, allergies, etc. in the computer * Schedule ancillary testing ordered by the Physician * Call prescriptions into Pharmacy and fill the medications at our Pharmacy as needed per physician order * Travel to other offices as needed. **Education/Experience** * High School Diploma or equivalent * Medical Assistant certificate. * Prior orthopaedic experience a plus * At least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant Job Type: Full\-time Pay: From $20\.00 per hour Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Disability insurance * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance ...
