Job Description: Regional Safety Officer Regional safety representative works with company regional representatives (RAM, RCM, RMM, etc.) and base program management to promote a positive safety culture and enhance workplace safety. Mentor and train base Site Safety Officers and base managers in safety management and accident prevention. Perform as new\-hire and recurrent training instructor. Perform duties as the company SMS Internal Evaluation Program base auditor. Conduct event investigations and provide recommendations to company leadership for improvement. This position does not require the employee to relocate to North Texas II. QUALIFICATIONS A. Education: * Two year Associate's degree; B.S. degree (preferred) * FAA Certification as a RW Commercial Instrument pilot or A\&P Mechanic; Paramedic or RN B. Skills: * Ability to define problems through the collection of data and information, establish facts and draw sound conclusions * Strong presentation skills * Excellent verbal, written communication and consensus building interpersonal skills * Advanced leadership skills * Knowledge of OSHA, FAA Part 135 regulations C.
