**SoCal Urogynecology is a private office in Atwater Village, Los Angeles, CA.** **WORK DESCRIPTION** Seeking medical assistant WITH EXPERIENCE in HMO practices. This would be primarily a front office role, with some opportunity for clinical work in a fast\-paced women's health clinic. Previous experience in women's health and/or urology is a bonus, but not a requirement. Office is located in a standalone building in Atwater Village, within walking distance to restaurants and coffee shops. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DON'T HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE OR ARE A NEW MA GRAD. **Administrative Responsibilities** Obtain insurance authorizations and check insurance eligibility efficiently! Electronic medical record documentation and management. Answer phone calls and assist patients with check\-in and follow\-up. Manage physician clinic and OR schedule and assist with surgical scheduling. Maintain office space. **Clinical Responsibilities** See patients with physician and Nurse practitioner a few days a week.
