**Position Overview** Monetary Metals (MM) is a disruptive, high growth gold platform, which pays interest to savers, finances qualified businesses, and provides a liquid marketplace for gold leases and bonds. Monetary Metals is seeking a detail\-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high\-growth company. The ideal candidate is a self\-starter who thrives in a fast\-paced environment and is eager to take ownership of accounting processes. This position is open to remote applicants and will report to the Controller. **Core Responsibilities** * Accounts Payable: + Receive and validate invoices from vendors. + Obtain necessary internal approvals for invoice payments. + General upkeep of accounts payable in our accounting system. + Send remittances to vendors to ensure payments are applied correctly. * Bank Transactions: + Record and classify bank transactions accurately and promptly into the accounting system. * General Ledger Maintenance: + Maintain the general ledger by posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and updating financial transactions. + Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records...
