**GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:** Garud is seeking a Contract Specialist to support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the Office of Acquisition Management (OAQ) by managing the full procurement lifecycle, from requirements development and market research, to solicitation, evaluation, and award. This role ensures acquisitions comply with federal regulations, agency policies, and mission needs. The specialist prepares procurement documentation, coordinates with program stakeholders, analyzes contractor proposals, and provides guidance on contract strategy and best practices. Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and a solid understanding of federal acquisition processes are essential for success in this position. **This position is on site at the Washington DC office 5 days** **a week** and reports to the Program Manager.
