**Entry\-Level Structural Engineer – Steel Design** **Location:** Lexington, SC \| **Position Type:** Full\-Time \| **Experience Level:** Entry\-Level / New Grad Southern Steel Engineers (SSE) is hiring an **entry\-level structural engineer** to support our growing workload of **steel connection design** and **steel erection engineering** projects. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent civil or structural engineering graduate who’s eager to apply their skills, learn from experienced engineers, and grow into a specialized role in structural steel design. **What You’ll Do** * Assist in the analysis and design of **steel connections** for a wide variety of project types across the U.S. * Assist in **steel erection engineering** for a wide variety of project types across the U.S. * Use engineering software such as **MathCAD Prime**, **IDEA StatiCa**, **RAM Elements**, and **Revit** to support design work * Review 3D BIM models in **Trimble Connect** to assist with coordination and connection detailing * Prepare engineering submittals, review shop drawings, and help respond to RFIs from clients and detailers * Collaborate with internal engineers and external partners to deliver accu...
