**Title: Jr Accountant** Salary Range: $50,000 \- $55,000 Degree Requirements: Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree Be part of a team that works on the day\-to\-day, monthly and quarterly property accounting and reporting for a commercial property portfolio. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities**: * Assist with the accounts payable (AP) process, including invoice entry, approvals, and payment processing. * Ensure AP policies and procedures are followed in accordance with company guidelines. * Prepare monthly bank reconciliations. * Assist in preparing and maintaining supporting schedules for general ledger (GL) accounts. * Assist in maintaining accounting schedules, including escrows, accruals, straight\-line rent, and prepaid schedules. * Assist with lender draw requests for escrow/reserve drawdown. * Assist in preparing tenant rent billings. * Respond to tenant billing and lease related inquiries. * Contact tenants regarding outstanding balances, open items, and non\-payment of rent. * Review and post tenant receipts. * Prepare reporting for arrears meetings. * Perform general administrative tasks including, but not limited to: filing and maintaining records, answering and screeni...
