Responsibilities: **Job Summary:** As a Team Leader I for H\-E\-B Warehouse or Transportation, you'll manage different areas of operation to develop expertise in people leadership and tactical operational leadership. You'll lead a team of hourly Partners. **Key Responsibilities \& Essential Functions:** * Management / Operations: + Spends majority of time using independent judgment making employment\-related business decisions, or effectively recommending such decisions (e.g., product\- and department\-related strategies, hiring, promoting, disciplining, suspending, discharging, rewarding, or otherwise engaging in resolving Partner\-related matters) + Provides daily supervision and support for an assigned group of hourly Partners; maintains an environment where Partners trust and respect the Leader and work together as a team to accomplish goals and objectives + Engages with Partners daily; clearly explains roles, expectations and performance measurements for each critical component that impacts business outcomes + Operates a team that consistently meets customer needs and expectations; tracks / monitors / resolves complaints; ensures service recovery efforts; identifies trends; pr...
