Are you a personable and professional medical assistant with experience and a passion for patient care? We are a small, limited size internal medicine practice seeking the right additioh to our team. Our practice is uniquely welcoming, inviting and offers a safe environment where patients can be comfortable seeking and receiving a full spectrum of primary care. The applicant will have experience with both patient care and office responsibilities, and is comfortable with a focus on wellness and prevention, in addition to acute care. Duties will include front desk tasks (welcoming and discharging patients, working with insurance updates and approvals, helping to arrange referrals and testing, managing electronic health record entries and correspondence, and answering phones/phone triage, Athena EHR experience is ideal) and may include a range of clinical tasks (greeting and rooming patients, checking vitals, giving injections, performing office procedures including EKG and pulmonary function testing, among others).
