Description

Assist the Project Manager and Project Superintendent in project planning, buyout, project management and close\-out. The Project Engineer actively gathers information on the status the project and works cooperatively as a team member with other Waltz colleagues, as well as our client, project architect and engineers and our trade contractors: Pre\-Construction Duties: * Review Construction Documents \& Specs * Assist Project Manager in review of bid proposals * Assist Project Manager in preparation of detailed Scopes of Work \& Contracts. * Attend all Design Meetings with Consultants and trade partners. * Take weekly Design Meeting Minutes and distribute Meeting Minutes * Attend Site walks * Set up project in Procore: Directory, Construction Document uploads, Meeting Minutes etc. * Create a Submittal Log * Daily Duties: * Document Control and distribution (e\-mails \& RFI \& Submittal \& drawing distribution etc.) * Prepare, transmit and track RFI’s thru Procore. * Post RFI’s on drawings for As\-Builts * Assist in the preparation and review of submittals and shop drawings and long lead items. * Transmit and track and submittals and shop drawings thru Procore. * Procurement \- Trac...
