**Job Title:** Pharmacist **Department:** Pharmacy **Report to:** Pharmacy Manager **POSITION SUMMARY:** Performs all duties of a licensed pharmacist; ensures the safety, security, and integrity of all medications; ensures strict adherence to all laws and regulations governing the dispensing and sale of pharmaceuticals. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS** (responsibilities include, but are not limited to): * Greets customers when within ten feet and four seconds of contact, by name if possible, during transactions * Assist in supervising and recommending disciplinary action for associates in department. * Assist with work schedules, assigning work, training, enforcing Company policies and SOP’s, * Ensures that the pharmacy complies with the HIPAA laws/rules/regulations, the laws/rules/regulations of the board of pharmacy and/or regulatory agencies and abides by and enforces all company policies and procedures fairly and consistently. * Compounds medications, using standard formulas and processes such as weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients as needed. * Administers vaccinations as appropriate, following established professional, federal, and state protocols. * Assist with the processing ...
