PRN positions available. A Retail Pharmacist performs tasks related to the filling of medication orders at the pharmacy as well as the patient bedside. This position will directly support OGHS Meds to Beds initiative. **Essential Duties \& Responsibilities:** 1\. Prepare and review medication orders per physician request using appropriate techniques according to protocols, policies and procedures. * Prepares medications by reviewing and interpreting physician orders; detecting therapeutic incompatibilities. * Dispenses medications by reviewing, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals. * Controls medications by monitoring drug therapies; advising interventions. * Provides pharmacological information by answering questions and requests of health care professionals; counseling patients on drug therapies. 2\.
