Description

The Sharon Public Schools is seeking a (3 days per week) Physical Therapist to cover a maternity leave ending on 12/23/2026\. This position provides school\-based physical therapy as a related service in the least restrictive environment for the purpose of enhancing students’ ability to physically access their learning environment and/or curriculum. The PT designs and performs therapeutic interventions, including compensation, remediation, and prevention strategies as well as adaptations and accommodations. All this is done to provide students with functional mobility and safe, efficient access and participation in educational activities and routines in natural learning environments. IEP development and implementation including participation in the TEAM process, as well as progress monitoring, are essential components of the school\-based physical therapist’s position.
