**Hourly rate:** $39\.00/hour **Contract:** 18 Months **Location:** Pittsburgh, PA or Houston, TX – **Pittsburgh Preferred** **Schedule:** 5 Days/Week Onsite **Travel:** 60–75% We are seeking an experienced **Engineer III** to support roadway permitting, access approvals, and railroad coordination for fast\-paced power infrastructure projects. This role will manage permitting strategies, agency coordination, access agreements, haul routes, and compliance through construction closeout. **This position requires extensive travel (60–75%)** , primarily to project sites in Texas, Ohio, the Northeast, and the Pittsburgh region. ### **Key Responsibilities** * Develop and execute roadway and railroad permitting strategies. * Coordinate public road crossings, driveway entrances, access points, and contractor haul routes. * Work with engineering, environmental, construction, legal, and external consultants. * Negotiate **Road Use/Maintenance Agreements (RUMA/RUA), Right of Entry (ROE), and Railroad Crossing Agreements** . * Coordinate with state DOTs, municipalities, counties, and railroad representatives. * Support traffic engineering, MOT planning, roadway/bridge restrictions, and restorat...
