**Position Title:** Registered Nurse \- Utilization Management (RN) **Location:** Hampton, VA 23665 **Pay rate:** $48/hr. **Duration:** 12 months with extension options up to 5 years **Work Schedule:** Full\-time, 40 hours weekly \| Monday \- Friday, 07:30 AM \- 04:30 PM **Key Responsibilities** * Provide nursing support for utilization management activities within a military healthcare setting. * Collaborate with healthcare personnel and other healthcare facilities to support appropriate patient care. * Assist with coordinating referral appointments and healthcare services. * Serve as a point of contact between healthcare staff and beneficiaries regarding plans of action and available healthcare benefits. * Support patient and family education, as appropriate. * Maintain accurate clinical and administrative documentation. * Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to facilitate appropriate patient care and services. * Follow applicable Department of Defense (DoD), Defense Health Agency (DHA), and facility policies and procedures. * Maintain professional standards, patient confidentiality, and patient safety. * Complete required agency and facility\-specific training and compl...
