Position Title: MECHANICAL DESIGNER Location: HOUSTON, TX FLSA Class: EXEMPT Responsible to: TEAM LEAD \- DATA CENTER DESIGN **Position Summary**: This position is primarily responsible for the creation, organization, and dissemination of mechanical designs as needed by the Engineering team. Duties can involve some hands\-on work, and document writing. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities**: * Use Inventor/ AutoCad software to create detailed 3D designs for complex projects for turnkey * power generation solutions. * Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to develop accurate * and complete schematics. * Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. * Perform quality checks on completed schematics to ensure accuracy. * Maintain organized and accurate records of schematics and related documentation. * Continuously improve skills and knowledge related to drafting and AutoCAD software. * Assist the team with equipment drawings and installation/testing. * Collaborate with engineers to develop accurate technical specifications and RFQ’s. **Qualifications:** * 5\+ years of experience in drafting, preferably with mechanical systems. * 3\+ years...
