**Job Schedule:** 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked – and have every other Friday off **Job Description:** Rocketdyne is currently seeking a Procurement Specialist to contribute to the success and growth of our Space business located in Mason, OH, supporting the procurement and management of machined and electronics components. The Procurement Specialist determines how to achieve objectives by applying a deep understanding of procurement principles, concepts, and practices in a DoD environment. This position requires a minimum of 6 years’ experience in defense procurement and manufacturing. **Essential Functions:** * Procure components and subassemblies to support various programs, including commodities such as electronic, mechanical, optical components or assemblies, capital equipment, and electronic/optical systems. The primary focus of this role will be on electronics. * Manage Purchase Orders (POs) and other agreements for direct and indirect procurements; Includes preparation of Requests for Quotes (RFQs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs), proposal evaluation and analysis, and issuance and maintenance of POs. * Select and recommend supplier...
