Description

The Corporate Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the completion of the month end close process and balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with GAAP. This position is also responsible for oversight and training of accounting staff. **QUALIFICATIONS:** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with at least 5 years of hands\-on accounting experience is required. * CPA certification is required. * Prior SEC or public accounting experience is desired. * Proficient with general ledger systems, MS Excel and other analytical tools. * Highly motivated individual that works well in a fast\-paced environment. * Strong managerial and organizational skills. * Strong critical thinking/analytical ability and problem\-solving skills. * Ability to effectively communicate accounting issues with senior leaders and external auditors both verbally and in writing. **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Supervise month end closing activities and provide guidance to accounting staff during the process: * Review and approve journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations * Oversee resolution of accounting discrepancies and issues * Ensure the completeness and accuracy of financial statements thr...
