* Newly created Controller role with the opportunity to build and scale the accounting function for a growing PE\-backed business. * High\-visibility position reporting directly to the CFO, with exposure to senior leadership and the board. * On\-site role near Oakland We are seeking a Controller to lead accounting for a growing, private equity backed distribution business. This newly created role reports to the CFO and owns the monthly close, technical accounting, financial controls, and relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners. The Controller will improve the speed and accuracy of reporting, strengthen cash forecasting and working capital management, and help build an accounting function that can scale with the business.
