The Pharmacy Director is an administrative position. This position plans, organizes, directs and manages the Pharmacy Department including oversight of the Retail Pharmacy and Pharmacy Residency Program and clinical and regulatory oversight of Cancer Pavilion Infusion Pharmacy. Performs various duties assigned according to policies and procedures and the mission of Woman's Hospital. ***Requirements:*** * Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD. * An advanced management degree (MBA, MHA or MS) or an administrative specialty residency is preferred. * Registered Pharmacist with the Louisiana State Board of Pharmacy. * Minimum of five years of prior management experience in a clinical pharmacy. ***Responsibilities:*** * Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of inpatient hospital and retail pharmacy operations and effectively leads both areas to ensure safe, efficient, and high\-quality pharmacy services. * Promotes a culture of medication safety and continuous quality improvement across inpatient and retail pharmacy services; identifies risks and implements strategies to improve medication\-use processes and patient outcomes. * Maintains knowledge of and ensures compliance with applicab...
