**JOB INFORMATION** ------------------- Under the direction of the Director of the Department of Finance, Finance Analyst IV positions perform the most difficult and responsible budgetary and accounting tasks; review, develop and prepare the Citywide budget and monitoring reports; perform accounting work of a highly complex or sensitive nature, including maintenance of budgetary, revenue, cost and other financial records; process accounts payable and/or payroll; supervise the work of other professional staff; lead and/or supervise the work of subprofessional and/or clerical staff; plan, analyze and install modifications in financial systems; monitor, recommend and implement internal controls related to financial reporting; and perform other duties as assigned. NOTE: * Eligible benefitted employees originally hired on or after July 10, 2021, will be automatically enrolled in the San Diego City Employees Retirement System (SDCERS). **MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS** ------------------------ You must meet the following requirements on the date you apply, unless otherwise indicated.
