Ironwood Cancer \& Research Centers is looking for a dedicated, compassionate, and detail\-oriented Medical Assistant to join our oncology team!** **Ironwood Cancer \& Research Centers:** * Beautiful state\-of\-the\-art integrated Cancer and Women's Centers * Location: Mesa, Arizona \- travel between locations required * Full\-Time \| Day Shift \| Competitive Pay \+ Benefits **What You’ll Do:** * Prepare and sanitize exam rooms before and between patients * Room patients and record vital signs and assessments * Manage patient charts and electronic medical records (EMR) * Handle phone calls, referrals, and patient result notifications * Set up orders for transfusions, hospital admissions, phlebotomy, and more * Monitor prescription folders and assist with drug replacement programs * Coordinate special testing and physician requests **What We’re Looking For:** * Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)\- \*\*Only candidates who currently hold a valid Medical Assistant certification or the ability to obtain w/in 90 days will be considered\*\*\* * 1\-2 years of MA ...
