Varstaff is searching for the following: **Job Description** In this role, you will design simple tooling for Blue Origin's New Glenn. You will be expected to proactively understand tooling needs based on build and production flow, develop effective tooling solutions, and address unforeseen technical challenges. We are looking for someone who can apply technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to quality to contribute to safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required. **Responsibilities** * Design, create, and release CAD models and engineering drawings for simple tooling in accordance with ASME Y14\.5 design and drafting standards. * Solve technical design challenges involving assembly fixtures, material\-handling equipment, rotisseries, test fixtures, structural weldments, environmental chambers, and custom machinery. * Manage tooling projects from concept through commissioning, including vendor selection, procurement, fabrication, inspection, installation, and proof testing. * Establish procurement and fabrication priorities and communicate them clearly to the team. * Define and support repair and rework activities. * Perform root cause ana...
