The Town of Monterey is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Part\-Time Town Treasurer. This position is 15–18 hours per week with a wage range of $30\.00–$40\.00 per hour, commensurate with qualifications and experience. **Duties** The Town Treasurer is responsible for the receipt, custody, investment, disbursement, reconciliation, and reporting of Town funds; payroll; cash management and banking; municipal borrowing and debt; tax title accounts; and required financial reporting. The Treasurer works closely with the Town Administrator, Town Accountant, Tax Collector, and other Town officials. The Treasurer works under the general administrative supervision of the Town Administrator. The Select Board serves as the appointing authority and provides overall policy direction. **Qualifications** Candidates should have experience in accounting, finance, banking, treasury management, payroll, municipal finance, or a related field.
