**Sales \& Catering Manager – Hilton Garden Inn Charleston Airport** **POSITION SUMMARY:** The Sales \& Catering Manager will be responsible for soliciting new catering accounts \& SMERF groups with meetings and maintaining relationships with existing accounts to meet and/or exceed food and beverage revenue goals. They will plan and execute client functions to ensure customer satisfaction, execute all contractual agreements pertaining to catering events, and effectively communicate the information necessary to successfully execute groups’ needs to all hotel departments. This position will work alongside the Director of Sales and the Food \& Beverage Manager to come up with new ideas to drive revenue for both standalone catered events and SMERF groups with event space. **ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Solicit new and existing accounts to meet/exceed revenue goals through telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication * Prepare correspondence to customers, internal booking reports and file maintenance * Participate in daily business review meeting, pre\-convention meetings, training and other catering sales related meetings as required * ...
