**Accountant – Ampac Seed Company** Tangent, Oregon · Full\-time · On\-site **About Ampac** Ampac Seed Company is a Willamette Valley seed company established in 1978, distributing grass seed, forage crops, turf varieties, and specialty seed to customers across the U.S. and internationally in South America, Europe, and Asia. We're a close\-knit team of about 20 people, and we've grown steadily over the past several years. We're looking for a sharp, detail oriented accountant to oversee day to day financial operations and help us keep growing. **What you'll do** * Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including grower payments, vendor invoices, and customer collections * Process payroll and keep payroll tax filings current * Reconcile bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts monthly * Lead month end and year end close and prepare financial statements for management * Track inventory costing and reconcile seed inventory with operations * Handle international invoicing, foreign payments, and export related documentation with the sales team * Maintain and strengthen internal controls, approval workflows, and documentation * Support annual budgeting, audits, and tax prep...
