**Temporary Senior Accountant — October\-May** ============================================== **Valley Fine Foods** **Location:** Benicia, CA **Schedule:** Full\-time, Monday–Friday ### **About the Role** Valley Fine Foods is seeking a detail\-oriented **Temporary Senior Accountant** to support our Accounting and Finance team during an employee’s maternity leave. This position will help maintain day\-to\-day accounting operations, support month\-end close, and provide financial and cost accounting analysis across multiple entities and manufacturing locations. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while meeting deadlines. This is a temporary assignment; the anticipated end date may change based on business and leave coverage needs. ### **Key Responsibilities** * Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and prepaid expense schedules. * Complete bank, balance sheet, fixed asset, inventory, and loan account reconciliations. * Support month\-end and year\-end close, including financial statement preparation and consolidation. * Prepare financial reports and variance analyses, researching discrepancies and explaining key drivers. * ...
