Under the general direction of the Plant Manager, the incumbent is responsible for all aspects of plant operations for St Charles Energy Center. Ensure safe and reliable operation while operating the facility in compliance with all environmental and regulatory standards. Candidate will also be responsible for the direction and development of the operations staff. St. Charles is a 745 MW, 2x1 combined cycle facility featuring GE 7FA.05 gas turbines and a D11 steam turbine, utilizing reclaimed water for cooling and supplying power to the PJM market via PEPCO. ### **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** * Oversee the day\-to\-day operations and maintenance of the facility to support achieving company and group goals. * Select, train and manage a work force that is motivated, flexible in skills, cross\-trained and technically astute ensuring an effective and motivated team. * Maintain good relationships with key suppliers to ensure deadlines and fiscal targets are met. * Works with Maintenance Manager to plan and coordinate plant maintenance as required to maximize plant availability. * Ensure production is cost effective. * Promote a team atmosphere and a strong culture of plant own...
