**Role description** **Data Science Lead** **The Role** UST is searching for a Data Science Lead. The role owns end\-to\-end delivery of models and data science deliverables, provides technical guidance to a team of data scientists and analysts, and acts as the primary data science point of contact for client stakeholders **What You’ll Do** * Lead problem\-framing and requirement\-gathering sessions with product owners and business stakeholders, and translate needs into data science solutions. * Own the design, development, validation and deployment of machine learning models and advanced analytical solutions with minimal supervision. * Drive feature engineering, statistical analysis and experimentation (A/B testing, hypothesis testing) across large, multi\-source datasets. * Guide and review the work of junior data scientists; ensure adherence to coding, model documentation and delivery standards. * Define model evaluation metrics, monitoring frameworks and retraining strategies in partnership with business and engineering teams. * Present model outcomes, insights and recommendations to senior client stakeholders, driving data\-informed decisions. * Manage delivery timelines, effo...
