**Job description** Premier Physicians is currently looking for experienced Medial Assistants to join our team. **FULLTIME \- PARTTIME OR PRN AVAILABLE.** Our growing group practice encompasses internal and family medicine, medical and surgical specialties, and has comprehensive on\-site diagnostic centers conveniently located in the communities we serve in the Cleveland metro area. Overview: Responsible for assisting physician(s) and or physician's assistant or clinical nurse practitioner with patient card. May also perform administrative duties in addition to direct patient care/clinical responsibilities. **Essential Functions:** * Professional appearance, provide patient\-centered care, have a positive attitude and be a team player. * Performs administrative duties, such as answering and screening phone calls, making appointments, collecting co\-pays and other patient balances, taking and relaying messages, updating and verifying patient demographic information, keeping necessary logs, and other recordkeeping responsibilities. * Fulfills clerical responsibilities as assigned which may include but not limited to: obtaining lab/x\-ray reports, hospital notes, referral information,...
