Description

The Site Safety Manager is responsible for managing and supporting AMCON Industrial’s safety and health program at the major project level. This position works closely with senior leadership, project leadership, tradesmen, customers, trade partners, and other safety professionals to implement a safety culture and ensure compliance with regulatory, company, and site specific requirements. Leadership, Management, and Accountability o Serve as the primary safety resource for all AMCON employees on site. o Lead project teams to deliver projects in compliance with quality and safety standards. o Maintain clear communication with superintendents, field teams, and clients throughout all project phases. * Planning and Hazard Management o Develop and communicate project safety plans, safe work procedures, and task\-specific requirements. o Support completion of JHAs, AHAs, Pre\-Task Plans, and other risk assessments. o Identify high\-risk activities and ensure appropriate procedures are established before work begins. o Monitor changing site conditions and communicate new or emerging hazards to affected employees. * Training Qualification, and Workforce Readiness o Conduct and document AMCO...
