The Senior Plant Accountant is responsible for managing and supporting the accounting and financial activities of the solar panel manufacturing facility. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of plant financial records, manufacturing costs, inventory, production variances, fixed assets, and operational reporting. The Plant Accountant will work closely with Plant Operations, Production, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, Human Resources, and Corporate Finance to provide accurate financial information and support operational decision\-making. **Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:** * Manage day\-to\-days accounting activities for the manufacturing plant. * Prepare and maintain accurate plant\-level financial records in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company accounting policies. * Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes. * Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, prepaid expenses, and account reconciliations. * Analyze plant financial results and identify significant variances from budget, forecast, and prior periods. * Prepare monthly plant financial reporting packages for Management and...
