The University of Miami has exciting opportunity for a Clinical Pharmacist. **SUMMARY** The Clinical Pharmacist conducts drug utilization review studies and consults with medical practitioners on prescription orders, patient reactions, and errors. The incumbent works closely with patients and healthcare providers to provide information and guidance about the effects of prescription drugs, and help plan effective drug therapy programs. **JOB FUNCTIONS** 1\. Works collaboratively with all healthcare providers to optimize patient care. 2\. Advises physicians on the inherent dangers of drugs, incorrect prescription doses, and their eventual side effects. 3\. Promotes improvement in drug usage and dosage and provides supervision to therapeutic procedures for best results. 4\.
