Overview: The Financial Analyst I supports the Materials Sciences Division (MSD) Finance team in delivering financial planning, analysis and business insights that enable informed decision\-making across the organization. This role partners with Commercial, Marketing, R\&D, Operations and Corporate Finance to support budgeting, forecast, financial reporting and performance analysis for a global business. The analyst will contribute to continuous process improvement, financial systems, and cross functional initiatives while developing a strong foundation in FP\&A and serving as a trusted business partner. Typical tasks of the position include, but are not limited to: * Supporting Materials Sciences business partners, Commercial teams, Marketing and R\&D teams, to deliver financial performance and provide insights and analysis * Assisting MSD FP\&A activities, rolling forward queries and reports, posting journal entries, and completing reconciliations * Assessing current financial processes and reporting to identify enhancement opportunities while embracing a continuous improvement culture * Assisting with files that support the development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and mont...
